All images, descriptive matter, emailed photos, specifications, advertising on our website and pictures within our gallery are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Whilst we endeavour to show an accurate colour image, you are advised that there may be variations in colour between the actual goods you receive and the image that you see on your monitor or TV screen. This could be caused by the settings of your system or an adjustmentmade during or after photographic or other electronic processes.
As soon as we have delivered the goods you will be responsible for them. If you delay accepting a delivery, our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date the carrier tried to deliver the goods to you. We will instruct third parties such as receptionists, security staff, concierges, managers where necessary on safe handling of your order. Black Rose cannot be held responsible for late delivery or damage occurring after delivery to third parties.Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.
We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated, but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any times we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods unless caused by our negligence. Flowers and plants are considered perishable items and as such are non-returnable. If the item you ordered is faulty, damaged or misdescribed, contact us immediately. The Black Rose Reserves the right to make adjustments to the flowers/materials/colours in any instance of unavailability from the suppliers.
To confirm a booking we will require a 50% non refundable deposit. The total balance is due one calendar month before the event date required. Failure to pay this instalment on time may result in the cancellation of the booking in line with our cancellation policy (below) and loss of the deposit.

All hired equipment remains the sole property of Black Rose.
The hire will be for the period agreed on the contract. Late return of items will incur additional charge, equivalent to 2 days hire charge, unless prior arrangements in writing have been agreed with the hirer.
The customer shall pay a deposit equivalent to 50% of the hire costs agreed. Black Rose shall retain this amount in the event of cancellation prior to hire period commencing. Hire agreements should reach the hirer no later than 6 weeks prior to the hire unless agreement has been made with Black Rose prior to contract.
All quotes are based upon an initial site visit unless otherwise stated. Any changes to the site i.e. grounds, buildings, structures, colours, areas etc or changes to work required after the initial quote has been agreed must be communicated to Black Rose in writing. Failure to do so may result in the incompletion of works for which Black Rose will not be held responsible and will not issue refunds in such cases.
The customer shall supply by means of security, credit card details to Black Rose in respect of the hire. Black Rose reserves the right to present these details at any time for payment of any sums due in respect of damage, loss, additional cleaning charges or extended hire. The cost of any replacement can be provided on request.
The customer shall be responsible for the hired equipment from the time of delivery to return.
All the equipment shall be returned in accordance with the instructions provided by Black Rose with the equipment in a clean and serviceable condition. The customer agrees to pay additional cleaning costs upon return if items are not returned in accordance with the instructions, unless this has been agreed by Black Rose.
Black Rose or any of their employees shall not be liable in respect of damages/loss/injury or other damage incurred in respect of this hire as a result of any defect or damage to the item and the customer shall satisfy himself/herself of the suitability/condition/placement of the equipment upon receipt. Caution should be exercised in particular with candles and permission should be sought from the venue to the suitability of all items.
Black Rose shall not be under any liability for any failure to perform any of its obligations under the Order due to Force Majeure. Following notification by the Black Rose to the customer of such cause, Black Rose shall be allowed a reasonable extension of time for the performance of its obligations.
For the purposes of this Condition, "Force Majeure" means fire, explosion, flood, high winds, rain, lightning, Act of God, act of terrorism, war, rebellion, riot, sabotage, or official strike or similar official labour dispute, or events or circumstances outside the reasonable control of the party affected thereby.
The customer shall be responsible for the delivery/collection costs as agreed prior to hire and any additional costs incurred in collecting items not returned as agreed or outside normal working hours. Additional costs may be incurred for aborted journeys or waiting time.
Any breakages/damage should be notified upon receipt to Black Rose prior to use, should this not be done any shortages or damage shall be the responsibility of the customer.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that we are made aware of your timescales, and we have adequate time to set-up before the commencement of the event.
